With its reveal at CES 2014 earlier this month, it seems like PlayStation Now beta invites are heading towards an inbox near you.
One poster on site NeoGaf, has received an invitation to join the beta – though it seems like few others have seen anything from Sony today.
The email details "exclusive access to test PlayStation’s game streaming service before its full launch and the opportunity to provide your regular feedback to the PlayStation Now team."
A wired internet connection and "a 5Mbps or higher speed broadband connection" is also recommended.
However, the email doesn’t mean you can start using PS Now immediately – after accepting, invitees will get another email with a beta voucher "in the coming days."
PS4 will have to wait?
The beta invitation also singles out PS3 owners and makes no mention of the next-gen PS4 for Now.
This is to be expected especially with recent reports suggesting Sony has different plans in mind for the PlayStation 4 – specifically that PS1 and PS2 titles may be able to play locally using emulation.
