Chromecast is Google’s nifty little HDMI-dongle media streamer.
Giving you the power to stream media and surf the web even on non-Smart TVs, it’s a low-cast way to get content from your computer or mobile device up onto your big screen.
Chromecast is currently available in the US, with no Chromecast UK release date yet announced.

Chromecast UK release date
The Google Chromecast UK release date is March 19! The date was leaked on the Dixons website, as reported by Android Police.
Speaking to The Next Web in February, a representative from retailer Currys said that the Chromecast dongle will be sold starting March 1. However, Google told us that this is incorrect and that there are currently no plans for a Chromecast UK release date.
Of course, we already knew that the release was imminent – on March 10 2014, Google confirmed that the Chromecast UK release date is ‘weeks away’.
Specifically, Google’s head of Android Sundar Pichai, revealed that the streaming stick will be coming to "many more countries" by the end of March.
A recent update to the Chromecast Android app, adding support for over 50 languages, also suggested that the Chromecast UK launch was indeed imminent, as well as a global one.

Chromecast UK price
Since it launched in the US, Chromecast has been priced at a modest $35 so a UK price of around £30 has long been mooted. TechRadar’s retail sources have confirmed this, saying the Chromecast UK price will be "around £30".
